These Terms of Service govern your booking and participation in walking tours operated by The Layers of The City ("we", "us", "our"), reachable at citylayertours.com. By booking a tour, you agree to these terms.
Bookings & payment
Tours are booked and paid for online at the time of reservation. Prices are shown per person in USD and include the guide, any smart glasses provided, and applicable booking fees and taxes unless stated otherwise.
Cancellations & rescheduling
Unless a tour listing states otherwise, cancellations made at least 24 hours before the scheduled departure are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations made after that window, or no-shows, are not refundable. We may reschedule or cancel a tour due to weather, safety, or low bookings, in which case you'll be offered an alternative date or a full refund.
Participation
Our tours involve walking outdoors, sometimes for extended periods. Please make sure you're comfortable walking the stated duration and wear appropriate footwear. Guides may decline participation to anyone whose behavior puts the group's safety or experience at risk.
Smart glasses & equipment
Where smart glasses are provided as part of your tour, they remain the property of City Layer Tours and must be returned at the end of the tour. You're responsible for reasonable care of any equipment loaned to you during the tour.
Liability
You participate in our tours at your own risk. To the extent permitted by law, City Layer Tours is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your participation.
